Long Pond Students Build Rain Garden

6th grade students from Long Pond School worked with the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group, Rutgers Water Resources Program, and the Andover Department of Public Works to construct a rain garden on their school grounds. The garden will manage stormwater runoff from the paved parking lot and prevent polluted water from entering the Pequest River.
