WRWMG Hosts Rain Garden Maintenance Day and Litter Clean-Up

On Friday, the WRWMG worked with students from Newton High School and employees of Thorlabs for a combined volunteer event where participants helped to do maintenance (weeding and mulching) on the ran garden installed in the park as well as pick up litter before the garage and recycling washes into the nearby Paulins Kill River. The event was a huge success, and the WRWMG looks forward to finding more opportunities to work with these volunteers again in the future.
