Monday, December 04, 2017

Students in Dan Egan’s science class at Ridge and Valley Charter School recently worked with the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group, The Nature Conservancy, and the Stillwater Environmental Commission to plant trees along the Paulins Kill on a piece of state-owned property.

Students were able to plant and protect 206 trees and shrubs at the site, expanding the initial planting effort that took place in June 2016 when 163 trees were planted along the river.
