SCMUA-WRWMG Coming to Sussex County's Farm and Horse Show

The SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group has designed an educational display at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show to inform local residents about the work of the WRWMG. The display highlights upcoming projects led by the WRWMG and its partnership networks, including a stormwater management rain garden project at McKeown Elementary School and reforestation floodplain projects in Lafayette and Sparta Townships. Additionally, the WRWMG’s Watershed Education and Outreach Specialist will host a free presentation and activity station at the fair, highlighting the work of the SCMUA-WRWMG and the importance of aquatic insects for determining stream health. Overall, the WRWMG is proud to continue to partner with the Farm and Horse Show to highlight the WRWMG’s water quality improvement projects to both residents and tourists of Sussex County.
