NJCWRP Awards WRWMG $8,000 for Floodplain Reforestation Project

The NJ Corporate Wetlands Restoration Partnership voted yesterday to award the WRWMG $8,000 to continue expanding its floodplain reforestation project within the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge. The funding will help the WRWMG purchase interpretive signage as well as 250 containerized trees to plant along the Wallkill River. The planting will be completed by student volunteers this fall.
