Construction Begins on 2nd Stormwater Management Project at SCCC

The WRWMG has teamed up with Rutgers Water Resources Program and the Newton Department of Public Works to construct a series of cascading rain gardens near the solar panels in the back section of Sussex County Community College. The rain gardens will be capable of managing 204,107 gallons of stormwater runoff each year, helping to prevent polluted runoff from entering the headwaters of the Paulins Kill River.
