Monday, July 19, 2021

The Groundwork Hudson Valley Green Team worked with the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge and the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group staff to plant 200 native trees and shrubs along the Wallkill River near Route 565.

This planting is a continuation of other volunteer planting events that the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group has organized with the Wallkill Wildlife Refuge staff, including planting days with Johnson and Johnson employees and Cardinal Hayes High School students from the Bronx, NY.
