AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador Provides Educational Presentations to Walnut Ridge Primary School in Vernon Township

Kristine Rogers, the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador at the SCMUA-WRWMG, recently conducted a series of 21 watershed presentations at Walnut Ridge Primary School in Vernon. Her presentations used hands-on activities to teach approximately 400 Kindergarten and 1st grade students about how to prevent non-point source pollution while also stressing the need to properly manage the freshwater drinking supply.
