1st Trees Planted at Stillwater’s Veterans Park

Members of the Stillwater Environmental Commission and students and teachers from Ridge and Valley Charter School worked alongside the staff of the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group and The Nature Conservancy to plant 250 trees along the Trout Brook, a tributary to the Paulins Kill River.

Despite the heavy rain, the students had a great time planting trees and learning how people can do their part to reduce non-point source pollution!
