Sussex Tech Students Assist at County Riparian Planting Project

The SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group worked in partnership with Sussex County Department of Engineering and Sussex County Technical School to plant trees along the Wallkill River in Franklin Borough as part of a remediation project associated with new bridge construction at the site. The students worked alongside Department of Engineering staff to plant and protect native trees and shrubs along the river to enhance the forested buffer that was planted back in 2017.
