Tree Planting Begins at New Restoration Site

Representatives from the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group and TNC recently initiated floodplain reforestation work on a new piece of land owned by The Nature Conservancy. The trees were funded as part of a grant award from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and will help to establish a new reforestation corridor within Stillwater Township.
