Livestock Exclusion Fencing Installed Along Clove Brook

The SCMUA-WRWMG recently worked with a local Sussex County farm to install cattle exclusion fencing along the Clove Brook. The fencing will prevent the animals from having unlimited access to the brook, helping to reduce animal waste from entering the stream while also preventing the cattle from trampling the streambanks and causing sediment to enter the water.
The project was funded by USDA-NRCS and the SCMUA-WRWMG through grant funding provided by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
