SCMUA-WRWMG Watershed Restoration Efforts Highlighted in New Book

Friday, November 22, 2013

The SCMUA-WRWMG is extremely excited to have recently learned that the "Introduction" to a new book entitled "Seeking The Greatest Good: The Conservation Legacy of Gifford Pinchot" by Char Miller, a Professor of Environmental Analysis at Pomona Collge in California, contains information about the the riparian restoration project efforts that are currently underway in Upper Paulins Kill Watershed. Mr. Miller was a participant in a field tour of the restoration project site on the Jorritsma Farm conducted in June of 2012 for board members of the Pinchot Institue for Conservation.  Thank you Mr. Miller for taking such an interest in the work of the WRWMG and for helping to spread the word of our watershed work in your new book!
