Hopatcong Hosts Litter Clean Up

On September 15, the Hopatcong Environmental Commission, Department of Public Works, and the Sussex County Office of Mosquito Control worked together to plan a litter clean-up throughout the borough. Over 70 residents and local scouts assisted with the event, helping to keep the streets and trails within Hopatcong clean. By the end of the four hour clean-up, 593 lbs. of garbage and 385 lbs. of recycling were prevented from entering Sussex County’s waterways!
